WHY AWESOME?

All our members of staff have been carefully chosen for their aptitude and high level of experience in working with children. In addition to this we use sports experts for most of our activities including skiing, snowboarding, biking, rock climbing, hiking, high ropes course, tennis, football, mountain orienteering and map/compass workshops.

So far we haven’t needed to accept any external applications from “strangers” as all our staff have been headhunted, chosen for specific skill-sets they bring to the team, and come with shining personal references. All of our staff are aged 23 – 31 (excluding Mountain Guides) have a clean and up-to-date CRB checks and First Aid Certificates.

Prior to the start of camp all our staff are required to attend a 10 day training course to ensure they’re all up to speed technically, with our philosophy and with our safety measures.

In addition to our full-time permanent staff members, each day we use 3rd party companies and persons to act as sports experts and run certain activities such as hiking, biking, rock climbing and high ropes courses. For example, although we are all certified ski instructors, in order to ensure there is always 1 member of staff supervising at all times, we use an external ski school to carefully select individual instructors to instruct the children. We are not given instructors or coaches for activities at random. We undergo the same selection process when contracting these 3rd parties as we do when hiring our own staff. Below is a list of some of the companies we contract to ensure the best possible instruction, with the highest qualified instructors, is given to the children at all times.
